 Bu Yunchaokete (also known as Yunchaokete Bu or Buyunchaokete)

is a Chinese professional tennis player of Mongolian ethnicity. Born on 19 January 2002 in Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, China, he stands 1.85 m (6 ft 1 in) tall and plays right-handed with a two-handed backhand. Early Life and Background

Yunchaokete was born into a Mongolian family. His father died when he was young, and his mother remarried. Following Mongolian custom prioritizing the paternal family, he lived with his paternal grandparents, who did not speak Mandarin. They sent him to the SOS Children’s Village in Urumqi so he could receive a better education. In 2007, tennis coach Luo Yong discovered him and sent him to Huzhou, Zhejiang, for training.079b87

Early years and Challenger breakthrough (2022–2023)

He turned professional in January 2022. In 2022 he won multiple ITF titles (including several in Monastir, Tunisia, and Chiang Rai, Thailand). In April 2023 he claimed his first ATP Challenger title at the Seoul Open, defeating Aleksandar Vukic in the final. This propelled him to a then-career-high ranking of No. 164. Won Challenger titles in Wuxi (China) and Granby (Canada).
