The Buffalo Bills opened their new Highmark Stadium in style Thursday night, defeating the Detroit Lions 41–31 in a high-scoring Week 2 matchup. The victory moved Buffalo to 2–0, while Detroit dropped to 1–1.

Josh Allen Leads the Way

However, Buffalo's early advantage proved too large to erase. The Bills finished with 446 total yards, compared with 355 for Detroit.

The 41–31 victory was the first regular-season game played at the Bills' new Highmark Stadium. Buffalo's offense produced touchdowns on its early possessions, giving the home crowd plenty to celebrate.

The Bills now have a 2–0 record and will next face the Los Angeles Chargers on September 27.
